South African leaders are among those at the forefront of climate change discussions with the US..more specifically the topic of Green Hydrogen – a low carbon power source. Developing a Green Hydrogen export industry is one of three pillars in the South African government’s energy plan, called Just Energy Transition while Biden is also focusing on creating a similar industry in the US. The American President recently announced a joined Investment Advisory Task Force and pledged $45 million toward South Africa to help move away from coal-power.
