Coronavirus – Kenya: COVID-19 update (March 30, 2021)

1,530 people tested positive with a sample size of 8,010. The positivity rate is 19.1%. The total number of confirmed positive cases is 132,646. Cumulative tests performed so far are 1,480,240.

129 patients have recovered. The total restores are 92,290.

There were 12 reported deaths, all of which were late deaths from facility record audits.

The cumulative deaths are now 2,147. Our deepest condolences go to the families and friends of those who have lost loved ones.

1,308 patients are admitted to various health facilities nationwide

4,760 patients are isolated and cared for at home.

152 patients are in the Intensive care unit, 46 of them received ventilatory support and 97 received supplemental oxygen.

9 patients are observed.

89 patients receive additional oxygen separately, 78 of them in the general wards and 11 in the High Dependency Unit (HDU).

To date, 1.12 million doses of Astrazeneca vaccines have been dispensed in the country.
806,000 of these cans were distributed across the country.
130,575 people were vaccinated.
