345 people tested positive for the disease, out of a sample size of 6,686 tested in the last 24 hours. Our positivity rate is 5.2%.
A total of 160,904 positive cases were confirmed and 1,688,106 cumulative tests were performed.
140 patients have recovered from the disease, 82 from Home Based & Isolation Care and 58 from various healthcare facilities across the country. The total recovery now stands at 109,217, of which 79,525 are from home care and isolation while 29,692 are from various healthcare facilities.
There were 24 reported deaths, one of which occurred within 24 hours, 15 on different dates within the last month, and 8 reports of late deaths from facility audits. This now increases the cumulative deaths to 2,805.
Currently, 1,230 patients are being admitted to various health facilities across the country, while 6,654 patients are isolated and cared for at home. 154 patients are in the Intensive care unit26 of them will receive ventilatory support and 101 will receive supplemental oxygen. 27 patients are observed.
117 patients received additional oxygen separately, 109 of them in general wards and 8 in units with high dependency.
