JOHANNESBURG – South Africa was struck off another controversial red travel list, this time by France, which, along with other countries in Europe, banned travelers from our coasts after the discovery of the Omicron variant.

International Relations Clayson Monyela confirmed the news Thursday morning on Twitter.

The French Consulate General in Cape Town also tweeted that all vaccinated travelers will be allowed to enter the country if they can prove they have been vaccinated and have a negative COVID-19 test no older than 48 hours.
