Ondo State Governor, Mr Oluwarotimi Akeredolu, applauded the grassroots and network reach of Radio Nigeria in the broadcast Industry in the country.
The Governor spoke when he received the outgoing zonal director, FRCN Ibadan Zonal Station, Mrs Bolatito Joseph, Positive FM General manager, Mrs Olubunmi Olalere and other management team of Positive FM.
He particularly commended Radio Nigeria for it’s uniqueness, professionalism and unbeatable reach and professionalism which the governor noted made the station outstanding.
Speaking on enormous cost of funding broadcast stations, Governor Akeredolu suggested switching to solar energy to reduce reliance on diesel, cutting unnecessary costs and putting assets to profitable use.
He then promised to assist Positive FM Akure in its quest to enhance quality service to the people of the state.
Earlier, the zonal director FRCN Ibadan zonal station Mrs Joseph condoled with the state government on the Owo church attack while also appreciating the governor for leading the cause to protect the people in the southwest.
