HUAWEI launches mid-range nova 8i in South Africa: Here are the highlights

HUAWEI has added a new addition to its nova smartphone range in South Africa with the mid-range nova 8i.

The nova 8i joins the entry-level models nova y60 and Premium nova 8.

The nova 8i was launched on September 28th and offers all of the style of the nova 8, but at a more affordable price.

Here are some highlights of the device …

Edgeless display

The HUAWEI nova 8 has a bezel-less 6.67-inch display that gives it the look of a much more expensive device.

The edges on the sides of the screen measure just 1.35 mm.

The display itself has an FHD + resolution of 2376 x 1080 pixels, so you can enjoy razor-sharp images on the device.

HUAWEI Nova 8i camera

The HUAWEI nova 8i also has a high-resolution quad camera setup for its main camera.

These include a 65 MP main lens, an 8 MP ultra wide angle lens, a 2 MP depth lens, and a 2 MP macro lens.

That means you don’t have to sacrifice stunning smartphone photography for affordability.

On the front, the phone has a 16-megapixel selfie camera with HUAWEI’s AI beauty software to ensure that every shot is optimized.

Lots of memory and battery

The nova 8i does not save on main memory, onboard storage or battery capacity.

It has 8 GB of RAM with 128 GB of storage.

It also includes a 4300mAh battery that supports 66W super charging to ensure your phone is powered quickly and conveniently.
