Kenya has 456 coronavirus cases

The Kenyan Ministry of Health (MoH) confirmed 465 new cases of COVID-19 from 5,691 samples tested on Sunday, bringing the number of confirmed positive infections to 108,827.

The new data shows that 20 patients recovered from the virus, bringing the total number of recoveries to 87,570.

Unfortunately, two patients succumbed to illness, bringing the total number of deaths to 1,876.

Currently, 488 patients are being admitted to a variety of healthcare facilities across the country, while 1,394 are in isolation and care at home.

69 patients are in the intensive care unit (ICU), 23 of whom are ventilated and 36 are additionally supplied with oxygen. Ten are under observation, the ministry said.
