Kenya Morans is fighting for World Cup qualification in the absence of coach Liz Mills

The Kenyan Basketball Federation has published a list of 20 players who are expected to report in preparation for the World Cup qualifiers scheduled for February at the camp.

The Morans will be led by legendary coach Cliff Owuor, who is returning after a year off.

According to Ambrose Kisoi, general secretary of the Kenyan Basketball Federation, Liz Mills hadn’t signed a contract with Morans and was only appointed to assist the team on the AfroBasket journey alone.

“KBF only used Liz Mills to support the team and is not bound by a contract. She asked us to let Morans solve our problems after Owuor found a job in Rwanda. Today Owuor is back, now she has to go, ”said Kisoi.
