MR SOUTH AFRICA COMPETITION

The Mr. SA competition was held at the Houghton Hotel on Saturday, November 6th.

The competition was judged by high profile public profiles such as singer Yvonne Chaka Chaka and former festival bearers Billy Brown (Mr Mpumalanga) and Marlene Reddy-Ribeiro (Mrs SA 2016 2nd Princess).

The event was accompanied by actress Nicole Bessick.

Ntando was named winner and his runner-up are Steph Jansen Van Vuuren and Anton Siebert.

Ntando said of his victory: “First of all, I want to give God the glory for this title. Congratulations to the two gentlemen next to me, thank you very much for being part of this journey, I have and will learn so much from both of you.

“Thanks to everyone who supported and encouraged me on this path. Without your love, support and encouragement, this would not have been possible.

REPRESENTATION FOR EARLY CHILD EDUCATION

As Mr SA, Ntando would like to use his platform to advocate and give disadvantaged children access to educational resources.

He continued: “My goal and my role during my reign as Mr. South Africa and beyond will be to give children from the 1st age access to economic opportunities that enable one not only to live one’s life but also the lives of others to enhance.

“Because if you can influence a child’s mind, you can influence the future. The work to make this a reality begins now. “
