Electronic Vaccination Data Management (EMID) is the official registration platform of the Nigerian Federal Ministry of Health for Coronavirus Vaccinations, a platform that collects your data and schedules you for vaccination.

You then have to enter your details and choose a vaccination center of your choice. Online registration is intended to make vaccination easier and faster.

“Adopting electronic vaccination data management is critical to addressing challenges with integrity and quality data, and ultimately primary health care data.” said Dr. E. Osagie Ehanire, Nigeria’s Minister of Health.

Nigeria has also been on the lookout for illegal vaccine imports. The Minister of Health said vaccines not approved by the National Agency for the Administration and Control of Food and Drugs (NAFDAC) will be classified as dangerous and will be confiscated by customs at NAFDAC, which are on high alert for illegal vaccine imports.

On Saturday, Nigeria’s Chairman of the Presidential Task Force (PTF) on Covid-19, Boss Mustapha, confirmed that the country will receive 3,924,000 million doses of COVID-19 COVAX vaccines on Tuesday, March 2nd.

Nigeria has so far recorded 156,000 cases of coronavirus and 1,907 deaths
