Adeyemi, who was on Goal’s NxGn list last year, has the potential to be one of the best African talents of his generation – although both Germany and Romania will be interested in high-level recruiting for him.
His former youth coach, Ognen Zaric, has suggested that Adeyemi was “born to be on top” and his form of scoring early in his career certainly suggests he can enjoy a long career at the height of the sport.
Adeyemi has piqued interest at both Liverpool and Chelsea in the past. Both will surely monitor his development while Super Eagles fans will desperately seek the 19-year-old to join the Nigerian national team.
So far he has represented Germany up to the U-17.
