Telkom Kenya users have been having problems for a few hours. Users have reported that they cannot make calls and cannot access data. Users have also reported that they cannot access customer services.
Internet monitoring firm NetBlocks has reported that the Kenyan telecom company is experiencing a nationwide outage. The disruption affects its GSM and global data, with real-time network data showing connectivity at 9% of normal levels.
Telkom Kenya, on the other hand, tweeted a few minutes ago and confirmed the outage. The company says: “We are currently experiencing a service disruption to our GSM prepaid services and global data. We are working to fix the problem as soon as possible. Thank you for your patience.”
