Up-and-coming South African model Ntando Sgudla hopes to represent South Africa at Miss Universe

After South African model Ntandoyenkosi Kunene was crowned Miss South Africa in 2016, beautiful up-and-coming South African model Ntando Sgudla felt inspired and motivated to become an influential model to represent South Africa too. Ntando Sgudla was encouraged by her mother to become an influential model as her mother saw her grow up to support her dream.

Ntando Sgudla started her modeling career in 2018 and won her very first contest as Miss SA Teen Ambassador 2019. Miss SA Teen Title opened so many doors for her and brands around the world turned to her to become their ambassadors. She loves to model and a lot of people love to look at her so much because she shines brighter than an angel when she walks through the crowd.

Ntando Sgudla is currently the brand ambassador for Tammy Taylor Nails SA, Bobcut Hair Salon and FeelGood & CO. She worked as a brand influencer for brands such as Stronger Active Wear, Romero International Swimwear, the Box Fashion Teen Range and Runway Sale. Ntando Sgudla said that her mother as a role model and also a very supportive manager had a huge impact on her trip. Ntando Sgudla faces many challenges during her career, but she continues to work hard to gain more knowledge about the industry. Her hard work has paid off and in a short amount of time she has worked with many major brands.

Ntando Sgudla went to audition to be successful. She found out that Miss Teen Universe SA was looking for candidates for South Africa. She saw auditioning posters on social media platforms. From there the work began. She has done a lot of humanitarian work to support African communities. On March 20, 2021, she won a modeling competition. She made it into the top 8, then the top 3, and was later named the winner. Their prices include a trip to Dubai and much more. She will represent South Africa in Dubai, where she competes with other winners from their respective countries.

Ntando Sgudla’s responsibility is to continue helping the communities around her and addressing issues that currently affect society. As a teenager, her long-term goal is to study for BCom Law in college, join Miss SA, and then run as a candidate for Miss Universe. She wants to inspire and motivate many people, including empowering young girls and teaching them to be independent so that they know their worth and potential.
